Fenner Dunlop is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Maintenance Electrician at our manufacturing facility in Bracebridge, Ontario.
Fenner Dunlop, a Michelin Group company, designs and manufactures the widest range of bulk material handling conveyor belts in the world. What You’ll Do
• Attendance and punctuality. Arrive to work on time and as scheduled.
• Diagnose electronic systems with precision, troubleshooting to the component level, and swiftly addressing malfunctions.
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams adeptly to guide the assembly of intricate machinery.
• Install, configure, and maintain electronic systems, ensuring seamless integration within the broader infrastructure.
• Operate a suite of electronic testing equipment, including oscilloscopes, generators, meters, and power supplies.
• Execute repairs promptly to restore electronic units to operational status, showcasing expertise in both mechanical and electrical/electronic domains.
• Set up and rigorously test electronic units, ensuring they meet stringent specified requirements.
• Swiftly identify and address electronic malfunctions to minimize downtime, leveraging technical expertise.
• Perform comprehensive troubleshooting down to the component level, showcasing an in-depth understanding of electronic systems.
• Execute necessary repairs with precision to restore electronic units to optimal functionality.
• Conduct meticulous testing and calibration of electronic sensors, controllers, and actuators.
• Collaborate seamlessly with other departments, validating and verifying the flawless functioning of electronic systems.
• Keep supervisors apprised of unresolved and potential issues that may impact production schedules.
• Utilize a computerized maintenance system to interpret work schedules, enter work orders, and meticulously document maintenance records.
• Champion a culture of safety, ensuring strict compliance with standards and protocols in electronic installations and maintenance.
• Implement rigorous safety measures and best practices during electronic maintenance activities.
• Adhere diligently to Lockout Tagout procedures, guaranteeing a secure working environment.
• Strictly adhere to operational and safety procedures, promptly reporting any unsafe conditions to management.
• Maintain attendance and punctuality, arriving at work on time and as scheduled.

Required Education & Experience
• Certificate of Qualification / “C of Q”. or equivalent.
• Either 309a ,442a certification
• Red Seal Certification is added value.
Preferred Education & Experience
• 5 years’ Experience working in a Manufacturing environment
• Ability to work with tight deadlines
• Possess the ability to multi - task
• Previous forklift and overhead crane experience would be an asset
Working Conditions/Physical Demands
• Ability to lift 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Ability to move 100 lbs on a regular basis.
• Ability to work shifts, weekends, and/or holidays.
• Frequent manual dexterity
• Routinely stand, squat, and/or work in confined spaces
• Visual acuity
• Work in varying atmospheric & physical conditions.
